Ute thunders away but Colarado’s coming

Holden’s special edition Thunder Ute pack helped the iconic Australian vehicle to its highest sales for the year, with 817 units sold. The Thunder pack offers alloy wheels, satellite navigation, leather seat bolsters and iPod compatibility as part of the price. VFACTS figures released for May show Holden achieved 9.4 per cent market share in May, selling 9017 vehicles for the month. Holden’s director of sales Philip Brook said Holden’s May performance was restricted by stock shortages of Colorado which were expected to ease with the launch of the all-new Colorado this month. “We’re really excited about Colorado,” he said. “The new-generation Colorado is only days away and we can’t wait to start delivering the first cars to customers in the coming weeks.”
