North West NSW Heavy Vehicle Breakfast Forum

North West NSW Heavy Vehicle Breakfast Forum

This year’s North West NSW Heavy Vehicle Forum is being held on Tuesday 31 July 2012. The free forum runs from 6.30am to 1pm at the Moree War Memorial Hall in Balo Street, Moree. The event will explore the current road safety and freight issues affecting the local heavy vehicle industry including over dimensional vehicles, chain of responsibility and speeding. It will provide truck drivers, crane operators, farmers, livestock owners, stock and station owners and others in the heavy vehicle industry with valuable road safety information. Both the ATA’s Road Ahead Semi Trailer and TruckSafe Ute will be on display. After the forum there will also be a special workshop on the chain of responsibility and heavy vehicle compliance and enforcement that will be delivered by Paul Endycott, the acting general manager of the Compliance and Enforcement Branch of NSW Roads and Maritime Services. Contact the Moree Plains Shire Council for more.
