Grab a hold of this….
Owen Scott’s 12 years in the UK gave him the opportunity to see that ‘grapple’ trucks were the way to go. So when he came back to live in Queensland in 2010, he started up his own company; Grab Trucks. He’s put a 345hp Isuzu FXZ 1500 rigid fitted a grab crane and tipper body on the road to service commercial and domestic customers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The outfit is perfect for removing rubbish and delivering soil and other products Owen says. “I couldn’t believe grapple trucks aren’t more widely used here,” Owen said. “We typically use a bobcat and tipper combo instead. But with a grapple truck I just pull up near the waste, grab it into the truck and then I’m gone. It’s a one truck and one man job.” Grab Trucks can collect soil, sand, rubble, concrete, mulch and green waste including large logs and trees and can also grab general household waste, including cars.
