Carpentologist goes premium

Ex-high school teacher Ben Cribb gave up the books for the tools and has been renovating and extending Queensland homes since 1992. And the self-proclaimed “carpentologist” has revamped an Isuzu NPR 200 into a builder’s best friend.

Ben’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and as a registered builder is usually seen on building sites with his five employees, providing a high quality personalised service. In a bid to find the perfect vehicle to carry all his tools and equipment, he invested in an Isuzu NPR 200 Premium and with the help of metal fabrication specialists, Multishade, he designed the versatile truck body to compliment his niche business needs.

“After years of driving four wheel drives with trailers, it made sense to upgrade to a light duty truck to carry the increasing weight of machinery and consumables used in my day-to-day work,” Ben said. “The Isuzu NPR 200 ticks all the right boxes when it comes to structure. Another reason why I went for an Isuzu is for the creature comforts, even my eight year-old daughter Matilda, loves the ride.”
